Fabrication
CEPEDA employs many very talented and experienced craftsmen. Our fabrication shop houses state-of-the-art tooling tools such as
- Konecranes overhead cranes with total lifting capacity of 21 tons
- Miller welding machines (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW-P)
- Ercolina TB60 Top Bender® rotary draw tube & pipe bender
- Scotchman FI 8510-20M fully-integrated iron worker with shear, press, and punch
- Various other grinding, drilling, and cutting tools

Welding
CEPEDA maintains a fully-qualified welding program under the requirements of NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 (Tech Pub 248) & S9074-AR-GIB-010/278 (Tech Pub 278). We currently have Navy-approved procedures covering the following processes and base materials:
- GTAW: Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Hastelloy, Incoloy
- SMAW: Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel
- Plasma Needle Arc: Hastelloy
- GMAW: Stainless Steel
- GMAW-P: Stainless Steel
If you have different needs, we can create a customized solution for your application and qualify as necessary.
We also have welders qualified for brazing per NAVSEA 0900-LP-001-7000.
